The Nitro Pelagic Reef PE 6-8 is the master of popping on the reefs up north for world class GT's. The Limited Edition GT Pelagic Reef is a PE 6-8 Popping rod with a huge 24kg Max Drag. Built with Japanese blank technology and featuring Fuji K non tangle guides, there is a lot more to this rod than meets the eye. A firm tip section gives this rod the perfect action to use the largest of poppers and stickbaits and with a strong backbone, it has plenty of power to pull out Kingfish and GT's from the reef. This rod can also be used as an excellent live bait rod off the piers, when wanting a powerful rod which can pitch out large baits with a 200g cast weight when targeting Kingfish and Mulloway.

To ensure Nitro owners are not disadvantaged by rod breakage, the Nitro insurance policy provides for the replacement of a broken rod section through the payment of an insurance fee, based on the category of Nitro rod involved – see table below. The policy provides for rapid replacement of broken sections delivered to your door or Nitro dealer. Proof of purchase is required for insurance claim.
