The 5-piece Magnum Butt Traveller is a genetic derivation of the universally popular 2-piece Magnum Butt, now adapted to accompany the wander-lust angler to distant angling destinations in search of big fish. Packing down to just 58.5cms in its carry-case the 007 Magnum Butt will slip unobtrusively into a duffel bag and escape all the baggage restrictions and security hassles that accompany two and one-piece rods.

 Designed around the concept of the original Distance Spin this rod still has a beautifully light tip for flicking plastics but with much more strength in the mid to lower section for increased fish fighting power. Specifically designed for the heavyweight end of the soft plastics market, this rod is at home stickbaiting for Kings around Sydney’s marker buoys, whipping up Flatties on a southern estuary, slow rolling Jews off a NSW north coast breakwall or spinning up Bluefin on a mirror calm sea. Whether you’re casting an unweighted 4 inch stick bait or a 40gram metal slice, this rod has the goods.

To ensure Nitro owners are not disadvantaged by rod breakage, the Nitro insurance policy provides for the replacement of a broken rod section through the payment of an insurance fee, based on the category of Nitro rod involved – see table below. The policy provides for rapid replacement of broken sections delivered to your door or Nitro dealer. Proof of purchase is required for insurance claim.
