As the name suggests this rod is the distance caster, aided by the high modulus graphite and extra length the Distance Spin will cast small lures like no other rod before it. The length of this rod also makes it the rod of choice when soft plastic stick baits are used and imparting an action to your lure. It’s also handy when that once in a lifetime fish bolts under the boat in that last dash for freedom – extra length means more reach around motors, anchor ropes and keels. This rod is surprisingly powerful and a little underrated in line class it can handle, but it is still light enough to cast the lightest of lures. This rod is also very suitable for advanced bait fishing.

To ensure Nitro owners are not disadvantaged by rod breakage, the Nitro insurance policy provides for the replacement of a broken rod section through the payment of an insurance fee, based on the category of Nitro rod involved – see table below. The policy provides for rapid replacement of broken sections delivered to your door or Nitro dealer. Proof of purchase is required for insurance claim.
